I researched the efficacy of digital storytelling for high-level ELL students in the Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It led me to the study of collectivist cultures and how personal narratives must be reframed for students living outside of western frameworks. 

Why it Matters

This project showcases my work at the intersection of creator and educator. It is evidence of my ability to research and to find meaningful ways to engage my students with digital activities regardless of the obstacles.
